Q & A
WITH AMANDA
CORRAL
What separates you from your competition?
I am wired differently. I’m an artist by nature.
I see and feel things differently. This helps me
connect with my clients and their needs and
goals. I’m also highly intuitive and creative
so it helps me with marketing. I’m known for
marketing and I believe this comes from my
background in music and entertainment.
How has this virus pandemic affected your
industry, how did you adjust to it?
The first month or so my phone was dry! Nobody
was making moves! The entire world was on
pause because of the uncertainty we were
living. I was scared to be honest. However,
once people began adapting to the situation the
phone started ringing again and we have been
doing well. It’s been a little more cyclical than
normal with some highs and lows, but overall the
market remained steady and is now very strong
in Houston. We are experiencing a housing
shortage in some price points and it’s causing
multiple offers situations and driving prices up!
If you want to buy or sell now is the time! Interest
rates are at an all time low for buyers. There are
many programs available for first time buyer’s
to get down payment assistant as well. Again,
the market in Houston is strong! We are a very
resilient city!
