Air Pressure
Air exists around us. Air cannot be seen but air pressure is applied to all
objects around us. How is air pressure created?
Mother, how did the
balloon get so big?

That’s a good question,
Adam. Let me explain.
air
particles
There are many air particles that move The air particles inside the balloon

the surface of the balloon.
air
pressure
movement of
air particles
When air particles collide with the
surface of the balloon, a force is
applied on the surface. This
generates air pressure.
The balloon expands because there is increasing
air pressure inside it.
