Inter-governmental Committee (ICC)

• The Cobbold Committee has suggested that an

Intergovernmental Committee (ICC) should be

established which will be responsible for ensuring

the rights and interests of the people of Sabah and

Sarawak so that they are not compromised upon the

establishment of Malaysia.

• IGC was established in August 1962 (Mohd Nor

Abdullah, 1979: 74) and is also known as the

Landsdowne Committee.
