2. Diagram 2 shows the location of a transmitter and receivers. The residents of the housing estate are
unable to receive the television and radio signals from the transmitter.
Rajah 2 menunjukkan lokasi penghantar dan penerima. Penghuni-penghuni kawasan perumahan
tersebut tidak dapat menerima isyarat televisyen dan radio daripada penghantar.

You are required to give some suggestions to design a transmitter which can improve the reception of
signals. Using your knowledge of electromagnetic wave and the properties of the transmitter, state and
explain the suggestions based on the following aspects :
Anda dikehendaki memberi cadangan dalam mereka bentuk sebuah penghantar yang boleh
menambahbaik penerimaan isyarat itu. Dengan menggunakan pengetahuan anda tentang gelombang
elektromagnet dan ciri penghantar, nyatakan dan jelaskan cadangan anda berdasarkan aspek-aspek
berikut :
(i) The type and characteristics of the radio wave used.
Jenis dan ciri-ciri gelombang radio yang digunakan.
(ii) The location of the transmitter and its extra component.
Lokasi penghantar serta komponen tambahannya.
(iii)The strength of the signal.
Kekuatan isyarat.
