Aim / Tujuan eksperimen: To investigate the relationship between depth and wavelength
Untuk mengkaji hubungan antara kedalaman dan
panjang gelombang,λ.
Variables/ Manipulated/dimanipulasi : depth /kedalaman, h
Pembolehubah: Responding / bergerak balas: wavelength / panjang gelombang, λ
Fixed/ Malar : frequency/ frekuensi
Apparatus / Radas dan bahan: D.c. power supply, ripple tank and accessories, lamp, metre rule, white
paper, 5 pieces of perspects/glass, stroboscope, water.
Tangki riak, bekalan kuasa at. Lampu, pembaris meter, air, 5 kepingan
kaca, stroboskop, kertas putih.
Arrangement of apparatus /
Susunan radas:
Procedure / Prosedur : • Then put one piece of Perspex in the ripple tank
• The current was switched on.
• Mark the position of wave on the white paper as seen
through the stroboscope
• Measure the wavelength
• Repeat the experiment for different depth by putting 2, 3, 4 and
5 pieces of Perspex on top of the previous Perspex in the
ripple tank.
