Sinai Health Foundation

The Foundation engages, cultivates and stewards donors at all levels of giving to support the funding
needs and strategic priorities of Sinai Health System. Funds raised through the Foundation’s efforts
are directed toward advancing patient care, research and education initiatives for Sinai Health
System member organizations, including Mount Sinai Hospital, Bridgepoint, the Lunenfeld-
Tanenbaum Research Institute and Circle of Care.

The Foundation Team Consists of:

Advancement- Engages and cultivates new and existing
individual and corporate donors at the major gift level. Our
Advancement Directors work with Hospital employees,

clinicians and scientists to understand needs and learn
about advances in care and treatment.

Advancement Services- Supports the search for new
donors and the cultivation of current donors through
 A patient or patient’s family asks
prospect research, gift processing and donor information for information about donating to
management. the Hospital or recognizing a
caregiver
Communications & Marketing- Raises awareness of Sinai  A patient expresses interest in
Health System’s programs and the impact of our care and
sharing his/her patient
research on patients and their families, on behalf of Sinai journey/story to help or inspire
Health System and to encourage donations. others
 A patient is interested in
Donor Relations- Engages volunteers and annual and volunteering for fundraising
monthly donors to support fundraising initiatives and
activities or events
recognizes and communicates with donors about the
impact of their gifts.

Events- Engages donors by organizing signature
fundraising events and supporting community members in 522 University Avenue, Suite 1001

Finance- Oversees the fiscal health of the Foundation by www.supportsinai.ca
tracking our investments and progress toward our
fundraising goals. Works closely with the Hospital to ensure
