Our chaplains are multi-faith trained and experienced in helping please call Ext. 8567
persons with their emotional and spiritual needs, whether expressed
religiously or otherwise. We hope to facilitate the religious practice Referrals for patients and families
may be made by calling Ext. 8567

Our Synagogue is located on the Main Floor, behind the Second Cup. locating, Ext. 5133.

The Spiritual Oasis
The Spiritual Oasis is a quiet, tranquil place for reflection, personal time,
or prayer. It is available to staff, physicians, volunteers, patients and
families
24 hours a day. The Spiritual Oasis is also the venue for a variety of
programs, including meditation, multi-faith prayer, and Roman Catholic
mass.
Location
The Spiritual Oasis is located at Mount Sinai Hospital on the 4th Floor, Rm
432.
What is Available at the Spiritual Oasis?

 Various scheduled services. Please watch our bulletin board outside
the oasis.
 Roman Catholic Mass, every Thursday at 12 noon

 Jummah Prayers, every Friday at 1:30pm

Contact Us: On Call Chaplains:

Jewish Chaplain Ecumenical Chaplain Between 4:30 p.m. and 8:30 a.m., during weekends or
holidays, there are On-Call Chaplains to meet the spiritual
Rabbi Schulman Joanne Davies, and religious needs of patients and families.
Office: Room 1531 Chaplain The On-Call Chaplains are available to perform all

Catholic Chaplain Chaplain Services
If a Roman Catholic priest is requested, please contact
Christina Dashko Chaplain Nola Crewe the On-Call Chaplain first as the priest will not come in

Communion or if the patient has died.
