How I fell in love with
books...
I started to read books only from 9th standard. Till then I
hated all types of books .Not only the text books but even
novels , were my sworn enemies and the library gave me
creeps.But my cousin Alka she changed my attitude
about books.She told me the story of Harry Potter and the
Sorceror's stone written by J.K Rowling.I still don’t
understand why I fell in love with that story ,it still holds
the postion of ‘my all time favourite’.She only got time to
tell me one story but that was enough to spark the fire So
after she left,I was curious to know the complete story
.Since Harry Potter movies were not so frequent in TVs ,I
had no option left other than to read books.For first time in
my life I began to read a book passionately.After reading
the full series, I re-read it because I had became a
potterhead that is a huge fan of Harry Potter as well as
books.Like this I read many novels .My parents thought
that something had happened to because all of a sudden I
started to ask for books and even joined a library.Even
now books are my best friends they help me to see the
best in every situations because when I read books I
forget everything and that is how I a hater of books
became addicted to it.
