GRADE 2 GOES VIRTUAL

The Grade 2 students were beaming and teeming with joy and pride as they

successfully explored the online apps such as Seesaw, Jamboard, and the use of
annotating tools and live polling (survey) in Zoom. Moving classes online was not
an easy task, but the students embraced the unexpected shift to having a virtual

classroom using the online apps.

Some of the new online apps that the students have learned are the following:

Seesaw enables students to accomplish tasks online with the use of writing, audio,
or video recording tools to record and upload their responses. It was a breeze to
see that the students can perform these tasks with minimal effort. Jamboard, a

collaborative whiteboard app, allowed students to work together in groups to jot
down, present, and share their ideas in their Unit of Inquiry (UOI). For the first
unit on Relationships, with the theme Who We Are, students shared their

definition of the term interest to have an overview that people have their own
interests that they can share with their family, friends, neighbors, and other
people.
