STUDENT LIFE DEPARTMENT 5
In pursuit of the DIS Mission-Vision, students show their applications of the
various concepts and skills learned in their classes through hands-on initiatives, as an
output of the school's Service Learning Program.
Service-learning refers to learning that actively involves students in a wide range of
experiences and initiatives, enabling them to make a difference in the lives of others and
the community, while also fulfilling the goals of the curriculum and promoting the School
Vision-Mission.
We shall be featuring some of the initiatives of students from Grades 6-10 and we
encourage the community to help promote them by sharing. liking, and/or donating to
their initiatives. Parents are also welcome to share their thoughts and hopefully they will
also give us permission to share them on this platform. You may send your quotes and
comments to selene.olvido@domuschola.edu.ph. It's a good way to show our teens that we
value their hard work at school and their efforts towards being young citizens for others,
especially at these trying times.
