Driving Best-in-Class Minority Inclusion Results
It has been said that “a leader is one who knows the way, goes the way
and shows the way.” Our Buying Entity partners lead by example. Their
senior level executives have built an atmosphere and culture that
embraces minority business inclusion. Their best practices build
winning programs, increase spend with minority businesses, provide
development programs, embrace innovative best practices to expand
their reach into non-traditional areas and encourage their prime non-
minority suppliers to use MBEs in their supply chain. In addition,
several of the nominees support the Council by participating on the
Board of Directors. Representatives participate in events, planning
committees, working groups and engage in the Supplier Diversity
Professionals Working Group. The understand the role of supplier
diversity within their company and help build a culture of inclusion for
