Japanese war brides
Not only German, but also Japanese war brides did not receive a warm
welcome in America. But for Japanese it was even more difficult, due to
racism and the Immigration Act.
After the Pearl Harbour attack, a U.S. soldier posts a Civilian Exclusion Order for American soldiers were told not to fraternise
Japanese-Americans. More than 110.000 Japanese-Americans were put in camps with Japanese women, but love sometimes
because of the fear they would help the Japanese launch further attacks, 1941. conquered the rules.
