                      Given that a = 3, b = 2 and c = – 4, find the value for each of the following expressions.

                                                                 = 15 + 4                          = 24 – 2
                 4a + b  = 4(3) + 2                              = 19                              = 22

                    Contoh                           3.  3a + 6b – c = 3(3) + 6(2) – (– 4)    4.  2a – 4b – 3c = 2(3) – 4(2) – 3(– 4)
                                                                         = 9 + 12 + 4               = 6 – 8 + 12
                 a + 3b – 2c = 3 + 3(2) – 2(– 4)                         = 25                       = 10
