Untuk menentukan punca lateks menggumpal dan cara mencegah lateks daripada menggumpal.
To determine the cause of latex to coagulate and the way to prevent latex from coagulating.
Pernyataan masalah / Problem statement:
Adakah asid menyebabkan lateks menggumpal dan alkali mencegah lateks daripada menggumpal?
Does acid cause latex to coagulate and alkali to prevent latex from coagulating?
Hypotesis / Hipotesis: Lateks + asid etanoik
1. Penambahan asid ke dalam lateks menggumpalkan lateks. Latex + ethanoic acid
The addition of acid to latex causes latex to coagulate.
2. Penambahan alkali ke dalam lateks mencegah penggumpalan lateks.
The addition of alkali to latex prevents the coagulation of latex.

Bahan / Materials:
Lateks, asid etanoik 2.0 mol dm , dan larutan ammonia 2.0 mol dm . B

Latex, 2.0 mol dm of ethanoic acid and 2.0 mol dm of ammonia, NH 3 solution. Lateks sahaja

Radas / Apparatus:
Bikar, silinder penyukat, rod kaca, dan penitis.
Beaker, measuring cylinder, glass rod and dropper.
Kaedah / Procedure:
1. Label tiga bikar dengan huruf A, B dan C. C
Label three beakers with letters A, B and C.
2. Sukat dan tuang 20 cm lateks ke dalam bikar A, B dan C masing-masing.

Measure 20 cm of latex and pour it into beakers A, B and C respectively.

3. Sukat dan tuang 2 cm asid etanoik ke dalam bikar A. Kacau campuran secara berterusan dengan

rod kaca.
Measure 2 cm of ethanoic acid and pour it into beaker A. Stir the mixture continuously with a glass rod.

4. Sukat dan tuang 2 cm larutan ammonia ke dalam bikar B. Kacau campuran secara berterusan

dengan rod kaca.
Measure 2 cm of ammonia solution and pour it into beaker B. Stir the mixture continuously with a glass rod.

5. Biarkan bikar-bikar tersebut dan rekodkan pemerhatian selepas 30 minit.
Leave the beakers aside for 30 minutes and record the observation.
