Kaedah 1. Murid-murid dibahagikan kepada beberapa kumpulan.
Method
Students were divided into several groups.
2. Seorang ahli kumpulan dipilih dan kadar degupan jantungnya diukur seperti dalam Rajah (a).
A group member was selected and his/her heart rate was measured as shown in Diagram (a).
• Dua jari, sebaik-baiknya jari ke-2 dan ke-3 digunakan dan diletakkan pada pergelangan
tangan (Rajah (a)). Jari digerakkan perlahan-lahan sehingga denyutan dapat dirasa.
Two fingers, preferably 2nd and 3rd fingers were used and placed them on the wrist (Diagram (a)). The fingers
were moved slowly until the pulse can be felt.
• Bilangan denyutan dikira selama 15 saat.
The number of pulses were counted for 15 seconds.

• Rumus di bawah digunakan untuk mengira kadar degupan jantung bagi seminit (60 saat).
The formula below was used to calculate the heart rate for a minute (60 seconds). BAB BAB
Kadar degupan jantung seminit = Bilangan denyutan selama 15 saat × 4
Heart rate per minute = Number of pulses for 15 seconds × 4
3. Ahli kumpulan itu diminta berjoging dan lompat bintang selama satu minit dan kadar
degupan jantungnya diukur.
The group member was asked to jog and jumpig jack for one minutes and the heart rate was measured.
4. Pemerhatian direkodkan dalam jadual.
The observations were recorded in the table.

Explain the importance of sweating to humans.
Semasa peluh menyejat, haba diserap daripada kulit. Ini menyejukkan
badan kita.
When sweat evaporates, heat is absorbed from the skin. This cools down our body.
Kesimpulan 1. Kadar degupan jantung meningkat apabila melakukan aktiviti fizikal yang cergas.
Conclusion
The heart rate increases when carrying out vigorous physical activities.
2. Hipotesis diterima . / The hypothesis is accepted .
