               (a)     Penitritan   ialah transformasi biologi ammonia atau ion ammonium menjadi nitrat dalam kitar
                       nitrogen    . Proses ini dilakukan oleh dua jenis bakteria yang dikenali sebagai Nitrosomonas sp. dan
                   Nitrobacter sp.

                       Nitrification   is the biological transformation of ammonia or ammonium ions into nitrate in   nitrogen   cycle.
                   It is facilitated by two types of bacteria known as Nitrosomonas sp. and Nitrobacter sp.


               (b)     Nitrosomonas sp.    menukarkan ion ammonium atau ammonia kepada nitrit manakala
                        Nitrobacter sp.    menukarkan nitrit kepada nitrat di dalam tanah.
                       Nitrosomonas sp.   converts ammonium ions or ammonia into nitrites while   Nitrobacter sp.   converts nitrite
