Seramai 40 orang murid Sekolah Sri Rahmat, 32 orang murid Sekolah Gading dan 48 orang murid Sekolah Desa
Damai terpilih untuk mewakili sekolah masing-masing dalam menyertai perkemahan antarabangsa pada cuti
sekolah yang akan tiba. Encik Amir ingin membentuk beberapa kumpulan mengikut syarat berikut. KBAT Menganalisis
A total of 40 students from Sri Rahmat School, 32 students from Gading School and 48 students from Desa Damai School are selected to represent
their respective schools in participating in an international camp during the upcoming school holidays. Encik Amir wants to form a few groups
according to the following terms.

• Bilangan ahli dalam setiap kumpulan adalah sama
The number of members in each group is the same
• Bilangan murid dari setiap sekolah dalam satu kumpulan adalah sama
The number of students from each school in a group is the same

(a) Bagaimanakah Encik Amir dapat membentuk kumpulan tersebut?
Berapakah bilangan murid bagi setiap sekolah dalam setiap kumpulan
yang dibentuk? Cari bilangan kumpulan yang dapat

Faktor bagi / Factors of 40: 1, 2, 4, 5, 8, 10, 20, 40 setiap sekolah.
Faktor bagi / Factors of 32: 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 Find the number of groups that can be formed
by finding the common factors for the number
Faktor bagi / Factors of 48: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, 16, 24, 48 of students of each school.

Faktor sepunya bagi 40, 32 dan 48 ialah 1,2, 4 dan 8. Maka kumpulan yang dapat dibentuk oleh Encik Amir
ialah seperti jadual di bawah.
The common factors of 40, 32 and 48 are 1, 2, 4 and 8. Hence, the groups that can be formed by Encik Amir are as in table below.

Adalah lebih sesuai bagi Encik Amir untuk membentuk 8 kumpulan yang terdiri daripada 5 orang murid
Sekolah Sri Rahmat, 4 orang murid Sekolah Gading dan 6 orang murid Sekolah Desa Damai. Ini kerana bilangan
murid dalam setiap kumpulan adalah tidak terlalu ramai dan ini akan memudahkan setiap murid mengambil
bahagian dalam aktiviti yang akan dijalankan sepanjang perkemahan.
It is suitable for Encik Amir to form 8 groups that consist of 5 students of Sri Rahmat School, 4 students of Gading School and 6 students of
Desa Damai School. This is because the number of students in each group is not too many and it will be easy for each of the students to take
part in the activities that will be held through the camp.
