(d) Selain daripada kecacatan di atas, terdapat beberapa kecacatan penglihatan yang lain. Nyatakan punca
bagi masalah yang dihadapi oleh individu yang mengalami kecacatan berikut. SP 1.2.4 TP2
Other than above defect, there are several vision defects. State the source of the problems faced by individuals with the following
defects.

(i) Rabun jauh / Short sightedness Kanta mata terlalu tebal atau bola mata terlalu
panjang / Eye lens is too thick or eyeball is too long
(ii) Astigmatisme / Astigmatism Permukaan kornea tidak sekata / Uneven surface of the
cornea

Read the passage below.

Ilusi optik berlaku apabila objek yang kita lihat berbeza daripada keadaan sebenarnya. Ia terjadi disebabkan
kegagalan otak kita mentafsir dengan tepat objek yang dilihat kerana gangguan keadaan di sekitar objek
tersebut. Imej objek yang dilihat terbentuk di atas bintik buta yang tidak mempunyai fotoreseptor yang
peka terhadap cahaya. Hal ini menyebabkan imej tidak terbentuk.
Optical illusion occurs when the object that we see is different from the real life condition. It happens due to the failure of our brain to
interpret the seen object because of the disturbance around the object. The image of the object is formed on the blind spot which does
not have photoreceptors that are sensitive towards the light. This causes the image to not form.
Lakukan aktiviti berikut.
Carry out the following activity.
1. Berkerja dalam berkumpulan bertiga.
Work in groups of three.
2. Dapatkan pelbagai jenis carta ilusi optik dari Internet.
Get all types of optical illusion chart from the Internet.
3. Gunakan kreativiti anda untuk membina satu alat bagi menunjukkan bagaimana kejadian ilusi optik
berlaku.
Use your creativity to build a tool to show how an optical illusion can occur.
4. Persembahkan alat yang dibina dengan mengujinya dalam kalangan rakan sekelas anda.
Present the tool by testing it among your classmate.
