1. Carry out the activity below.
Aim: To investigate the changes in volume and temperature of water in two different
conditions.
Materials and apparatus: 2 beakers of same size, 500 ml of water, measuring
cylinder, thermometer
Steps:
1. Prepare the apparatus as shown in the diagram below.
2. Record the initial water temperature before starting the experiment.
3. Observe and record the observations of the changes that occur after 3 hours.

Deria lihat digunakan untuk mengetahui perubahan isi padu air dalam bekas. Deria
sentuh pula digunakan untuk mengetahui perubahan suhu air dalam bekas.

(c) What are the changes that can be observed after 3 hours? LS 1.1.5 PL 1 PL 2 PL 3
Air dalam bekas P dan Q telah berkurang. Air dalam bekas P berasa panas apabila

disentuh tetapi air dalam bekas Q tidak menunjukkan sebarang perubahan suhu.
