               summarize the data/facts related to other learning areas from learning sources, and present

               them through speaking writing.; use language for communication in real situations/ simulated
               situations in the classroom, school, and community; use foreign languages in conducting

               research, collecting and summarizing knowledge/various data from the media and different

               learning sources for further education and livelihood; and disseminate/convey to the public
               data and news about the school in foreign languages. Teaching teenagers is an interesting

               and challenging task. This course is designed to meet those challenges in a professional way
               by selecting content and organizing the students’ learning according to their psychological

               needs, creating a positive learning environment, and catering for differences in students’

               learning styles and intelligences and facilitating the development of their study skills. Taking
               all these points into account has significantly influenced the choice of texts, artwork and

               design, the structure of units, the types of exercises, and the means by which students’
               study  skills  are  facilitated  and  extended.  This  course  uses  a  communicative,  multi-skills

               approach  to  develop  the  students’  foreign  language  abilities  in  an  interesting  and

               motivational way.
                       Through  individual  work,  pair  work,  group  work,  group  discussion,  searching

               information, presentation, and writing activities which develop critical thinking skills.

                       In order to promote positive attitude towards learning English and build up desirable
               characteristics and learners’ key competencies.


               Objectives/Indicators

                       F1.1 Grade 8/2. Accurately read aloud texts, news, advertisements and short poems

               by observing the principles of reading.
                       F1.1 Grade 8/4. Choose the topic and main idea, tell supporting details and express

               opinions about what has been heard and read, as well as provide justifications and simple
               examples for illustration.

                       F1.2 Grade 8/1. Converse appropriately to exchange data about themselves, various

               matters around them and various situations in daily life.
                       F1.2 Grade 8/5. Speak and write to express their own feelings and opinions about

               various matters around them, various activities, as well as provide brief justifications

               appropriately.
                       F1.3 Grade 8/1. Speak and write to describe themselves, their daily routines,

               experiences and news/incidents of interest to society.
