17.0 CLEANLINESS
17.1 Pupils are prohibited from spitting and throwing rubbish
everywhere. Garbage should be disposed of in the bins
provided. Classroom cleanliness is the responsibility of the
pupils in the class and it is an offense for pupils to write, draw,
scratch and stain the school building.
17.2 Pupils are responsible for keeping the toilets clean. The toilet
used must be drained and do not insert anything that does
not easily crumble and rot into the toilet / sink hole. Water
pipes should always be closed after use. Pupils are not
allowed to wash their feet in the sink.
17.3 All pupils, teachers and school staff are required to adopt a
responsible attitude towards cleanliness and prevent any
attempt to contaminate the cleanliness of classrooms, toilets,
canteens, laboratory rooms, libraries, buildings and school
grounds.
17.4 Clean and neat clothes and personal hygiene reflect the
character and personality of a student.
Therefore the pupils must:
17.4.1 Always keep their clothes clean and tidy.
17.4.2 Always maintain personal hygiene, especially hair,
nails, teeth and all limbs.
17.4.3 Always try to avoid having vile traits such as envy,
