    Special Education Review Results





    In August 2018, Clear Creek Independent School District contracted with Gibson Consulting
    Group, Inc. to conduct a thorough review of special education programming and services.
    The review linked below is the culmination of data received from campus and classroom
    visits, staff interviews, parent interviews and feedback, and an extensive examination of data,
    systems, and district records. The review was designed to identify areas of strength and areas for
    improvement. Gibson Consulting Group
    has conducted more than 80 reviews of
    special education programs, and has made
    27 recommendations for improvement.
    Gibson representatives presented their
    findings to the CCISD school board on
    Monday, March 4, 2019. The District is
    working through those recommendations
    and will develop action plans to address
    them.
