The Intellectuals Challenge
LOCAL JEDDAH ROUND JPGS was delighted to be the first school in Saudi Arabia to host
OWLYPIA Local round in Jeddah between 20-21 May, 2022. Owlyp-
OWLINS ia was founded in 2017 by Perceptum Education, a certified Social
Gold Enterprise based in London, UK.
It aims to inspire intellectual curiosity in every young mind and
has a central theme each year. Owlypia has five subjects, which are
Social Sciences, Art & Design, Literature & Culture, Science & Tech-
nology and Economics & Business. Young intellectuals share their
LOCAL JEDDAH ROUND creative ideas, develop their multi-disci-
plinary academic skills, unlock their po-
OWLINS tential, build self- confidence, develop col-
laborative teamwork skills and create new
Silver friendships.
This year, we had the pleasure to have
around 140 participants from JPGS and
other international schools in Jeddah. Pu-
pils have participated in four challenges

which are impromptu challenge, knowl-
OWLINS edge challenge, speech craft challenge and team spirit. Pupils has
also performed in HOO’s Got Talent and shared their talent with
BRONZE us.
