Head of Prep School
As we reflect on this academic year, it is without any
doubt that the strength of the JPGS community has
been the foundation stone to driving the standard of
education and emotional well-being of our pupils. Be-
ing recognised as outstanding in SMSC during the BSO
inspection is a testament to how we care for our chil-
dren. Beginning the school year in a virtual environ-
ment in the Prep School was not ideal, and yet again
our pupils showed resilience to commit to their learn-
ing to remain positive.
The transition back to physical school in January was
certainly the main highlight of the year. Pupils settled
back into routines, group learning and crucially social-
ly interacting with each other. Academic levels are im-
proving as we work together to close the gaps in bar-
riers to learning that pupils faced previously. We are
stepping out of the tunnel and back into the light.
The pages in this year’s Jeddonian is a celebration and
tribute to all our pupils. We hope that you look back on
the year with pride.
