Mrs Saira Ali
BA, PGCE, QTS
Assistant Head of Prep
The start of this year was full of hope and promise of
our pupils returning back to school, they continued to
give their all to virtual learning. Teachers and pupils
were so excited to hear the news we could return to
physical school and I am so grateful to finally have our
pupils back where they belong.
I am so proud of how our pupils have shown such re-
silience adjusting back to school life. It has been pleas-
ing to see the pupils interacting with their teachers and
their peers with such confidence. The introduction of
portfolios for English and Maths display the clear pro-
gression pupils are making for each topic.
I’ve been fortunate to see the efforts of all our teachers
in Prep School after school and in meetings. Behind the
scenes, teachers have been training and meeting in
order to plan and deliver lessons according to the
most current and up-to-date teaching method-
ology. They have used their own time to attend
online training or research new methodologies.
At the heart of all this has been to make this year
better for your children and I am proud to have
seen the effect of that in our wonderful pupils.
As we look on to next year, we look forward
to a full year of physical school. An oppor-
tunity for pupils to flourish and grow both
socially and academically.
