THE BEAUTIFUL HARMONY OF JOY AND BROTHERHOOD

Eid-ul-Fitr is a festival of prayers, joy, happi-
ness, and brotherhood. At IES and JACK N JILL
Kindergarten, Eid was celebrated on 12th June
2019,with great fervor and excitement. Eid-ul-
Fitr, on this day, kids came dressed in colorful
outfits participated in the special assembly con-
ducted on that day along with various other ac-
tivities. The celebrations began with QURAN re-
cital, and later with an informative presentation
by one of our KG2 student who conveyed the
message of peace and harmony. Then, came
the main attraction of the program- a delightful
dance presented by our kindergarten students.
Kids were eager to know the story , and signifi-
cance behind celebrating this festival. The heart
touching story of love and sacrifice of Prophet’s,
(PBUH) really impressed the children when
the video was played in their respective class-
es. Teachers decorated the Bulletin board with
moon and stars to mark the occasion. They cre-
ated beautiful hangings and cards as takeaways
for their parents. The best time for them was the
colouring activity. As it was the last working day
for summer break, they also had a class party in
which children enjoyed and shared their snacks
with their friends.
