Welcome!
On behalf of the City of Highland Park and our entire community, it is our
great pleasure to welcome you to Exmoor Country Club for the WGA’s
Western Amateur Championship.
The City of Highland Park supports these activities and we welcome the play-
ers, their families and officials to experience our city. Highland Park is the
progressive, energetic heart of the North Shore. We have something for

Highland Park is proud to be the home of Exmoor Country Club, the oldest
running organization in our community. Since its founding in 1896, the
Exmoor Country Club has been a good citizen and partner to the City.
During the Spanish Flu pandemic of 1918, Exmoor generously allowed the
use of the clubhouse as a temporary hospital. For the City’s centennial
celebration in 1969, Exmoor donated the Stupey Cabin, the oldest existing
building structure in Highland Park, and now relocated adjacent to City Hall.
Exmoor membership has been comprised of professional and civic leaders
from our community and served as a social center where neighbors gathered
to play golf and forge lifelong friendships.
