Welcome!
On behalf of the City of Highwood, the City of Highland Park, and our entire
community, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to Exmoor Country Club
for the 120th Western Amateur Championship.
We are proud to be the home of Exmoor Country Club and are thrilled to
have been selected as the site of this year’s Championship. Since 1896 the
membership has been comprised of professional and civic leaders from our
communities and served as a social center where neighbors gathered to play
golf and forge lifelong friendships.

Highwood’s placement between Lake Forest and Highland Park,
conveniently located near Chicago and adjacent to Lake Michigan, offers
visitors access to world class attractions such as the Town of Fort Sheridan
development and the Highwood Bocce Club, which hosts international
competitions. Highwood is well known for its food culture, with 40
restaurants and bars within its vibrant downtown. We hope you visit some
