WHERE DO we get
FRESH WATER?
Water is brought to a
treatment facility through
SURFACE WATER underground pipes where
it is treated and disinfected
GROUND WATER
and then goes to distribution
centers where it is piped to
our homes.
The decision to find other
options as a source of
drinking water is usually
based on people not liking
the taste, odor or color
of their tap water or as a
back-up for the local water
treatment systems.
