Brightness and purity of noble metals like Gold, Platinum etc. indicate the presence of relatively greater amounts of the first attribute of Prana. Ever-active
Uranium, Radium, inorganic acids etc. are examples of matters having greater amounts of the second attribute with smaller amounts of the other two. Inert
gases (Argon, Neon etc.), Higgs boson particles, etc. are good examples of inanimate objects having relatively greater amounts of the third attribute with
insignificant amounts of the other two.
                           Acts of Prana

Präna or Mahämaya expresses Herself as Shakti or Effort (Y'a devi sarvabhuteshu shaktirupena samsthitä.) in all created bodies. She expresses Herself as the
effort of the sun to drag all planets to its core. Effort of the centrifugal forces on the rotating planets is preventing this deadly drag. Prana as the effort of the
moon tends to drag all water of the earth to its lap, but Prana as effort of the earth's gravitational pull is preventing that. Efforts of the branches of a tree to
go upwards against gravitational pull in search of light and air and effort of the roots of that tree to go deep inside earth against immense friction are
expressions of Präna. Immediately after coming out of its mother's womb, a new-born herbivorous animal remains almost motionless on the ground; Prana,
its Soul or Body-bound consciousness, dictates its brain, peripheral nerves and muscles to be awake and active, so that the new born could stand on all
fours and could run with the herd to avoid the carnivores. This is an example of expression of Prana as effort or Shakti. Diligent practice of a sportsman to
excel, sincere study of a little girl to master the language of mathematics are similar examples of Prana expressing herself as Shakti.

Prana as Soul of the Sun expresses Herself as Buddhi or intelligence. This intelligence keeps a perfect balance between the crushing force of the gravitation-
al pull and explosive force of fusion reaction, so that our nearest star remains glowing. Positively charged protons repel each other in the nucleus of an
atom. Intelligence of Präna expresses Herself as Strong force that keeps protons together in the nucleus of an atom. Präna as intelligence keeps perfect
balance in the dance of subatomic particles in an atom. [There is a statue of dancing Shiva at CERN.] Distances between the Sun and the Earth, between
the Earth and the Moon, between the Sun .and the Moon; and diameters of these three celestial bodies are so precisely chalked out by the intelligence of
Präna that we humans on the earth can enjoy the beauty of a total solar eclipse. Präna as Buddhi or intelligence helps a boy to master the art of batting at
his cricket-coaching classes. Prana as Buddhi helps a scientist to solve some intractable problem of his subject of interest. (Yä devi sarvabhuteshu buddhiru-
                           pena samsthitä.)

Präna is ichchhämayee. It means She is the wishful creativity. According to Her wish, vast numbers of Hydrogen atoms gravitate to a giant star; high
temperature at the core of the star converts lighter Hydrogen atoms into atoms of heavier metals. Subsequently this big star bursts into a supernova and
sprinkles the heavy metals into the vast space around it. Later on, these metals gravitate into newer stars, newer planets and other celestial bodies. Heavy
metals on our planet and in all inanimate and animate objects on the Earth have come from some supernova in the distant past. So, we all are made up of
star-dusts and that supernova is our mother. Prana has expressed Herself as Hydrogen atoms, those converted into a supernova, our mother. So, indirectly
Prana is our mother. With utmost care a little girl is feeding her pet dog. A little boy is regularly watering the plants in the garden with love and care. A bitch
is feeding an orphan kitten along with its own offspring. This careful motherly attitude is one of many expressions of Prana. (Ya devi sarvabhuteshu matrirupe-
                           na samsthita)

Prana expresses Herself as Kshudhä or desire or hunger. A black hole is ever-hungry to devour all things and everything that comes near it. We humans have
hunger for food to supply nutrients to our body, we have intense desire to amass vast physical wealth and we have insatiable lust for sensual pleasures; and
all these are expressions of Kshudha of Prana. Prana expresses Herself as an abundant supply of inanimate and animate things we are hungry of to satisfy us.
                           (Ya devi sarvabhuteshu kshudhärupena samsthitä).
