drench : extremely wet, covered in sweat
illuminated : made brighter
creak : to move doors, floorboards etc. with a long low sound
gasp : to take a quick short breath
awful : extremely bad or unpleasant
blurry : difficult to see
squint : to partly close eyes to see more clearly
elegant : graceful and attractive
sprint : to run quickly for a race or in a hurry
squeal : to make a long and loud cry
