Diagnosis

If there are abnormalities in the results, other tests will be performed to find out

that the patient may have other problems.

c. Imaging

 CT pulmonary angiography

 Chest X-rays (to rule out other causes; congestive heart failure and rib

fracture)

 Ultrasonography of the legs (detecting deep venous thrombosis)
