7. Vital sign
• Breathing
➢Dyspnoea increases
➢Shortness of breath
➢Breath sound is reduced or not
➢Dullness @ flatness on percussion where involved.
➢Anasarca limited chest wall movement (comprehensive oedema throughout
the body)
• Fever
• Chest pain, especially when breathing in deeply (pleurisy or pleuritic pain)
