PATHOPHYSIOLOGY

• The joint capsule usually shows thickening and fibrosis

• The synovial lining looks mildly inflamed

• Subchondral bone exposed to direct weight bearing and

cause micro fracture and collapse

➢This condition produces inequality in the joint

➢Inequality in the joint surface can result to pain and

restricted motion
