             •   ISSUANCE OF EXPORT CERTIFICATE
             In order to comply with the importing countries requirement,  total of 66,296 export certificates were
             issued throughout 2017 respectively 60,268 (90.9 per cent) health certificates, 5771 (8.7 per cent)
             free sales certificates and 257 (0.4 per cent) of Non-Genetically Modified Food (Figure 5). Issuance
             of export certificates can guarantee that the products exported from Malaysia are safe and this will
             increase export demand for food products from various countries.
