SAUSAGE BISCUITS AND GRAVY BAKE


        From the Kitchen of Chelsea Nguyen



        Ingredients:

        1 lb. breakfast sausage
        2 Tbsp. butter

        ¼ cup all-purpose flour
        ½ tsp. salt

        ½ tsp. pepper
        3 cups milk
        1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury

        Buttermilk Biscuits (8 count)

























        Directions:

        Heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
        Spray 13x9-inch glass baking dish with cooking spray
        In a skillet, cook sausage 8-10 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until

        browned and thoroughly cooked
        Using a slotted spoon, transfer sausage to baking dish

        Add butter to drippings in skillet; melt over medium heat
        Add flour, salt, and pepper

        Cook 1-2 minutes or until thickened and beginning to brown. Stir in milk; heat to
        simmering, stirring frequently. Cook and stir 1-3 minutes or until thickened
        Pour gravy over sausage in dish

        Separate biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into fourths. Place in baking dish
        Bake 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
