Small Floral Pendants

The creation of the small floral pendant in this lesson takes its inspiration
from traditional Thai floral pendants. It is very simple in the design with the basic
shape of round or square. Bent into the desired form, thin florist’s wire is used
as the structure within the flowers, which primarily are crown flowers and small
white gardenias. In the middle of the round or square floral pendant, we can hang
different decorative floral item such as a single strand floral tassel, small fish or
small ball folded from coconut leaves. Small floral pendant is called khruang
khwaen lek in Thai.
