This Municipal Government of Nuevo Laredo, Tamps. proudly presents
through the Institute for Competitiveness and Foreign Trade of
Nuevo Laredo (ICCE) the Binational Socioeconomic Handbook 2020,
T“Laredos’ Region”, where we show the importance, potential benefits
and competitive advantages of the sister cities of Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas
and Laredo,Texas as “The most important Logistical and Customs Platform in
America and the world.”

Ever since ICCE, it has been institutionalized the commitment to quantify the
economic reality of this thriving border zone. Information has always been
the platform to create a knowledge-based society. COMPETITIVENESS is not
possible if the parties called for its creation do not know, nor recognize regional
spaces and opportunities. Current challenges demand more than ever the
accurate diagnosis of economic realities involving a region such as ours, so
particular in its economic cycles and variations of international trade. To be
innovators requires changes in our way of reaching the most immediate reality
and this can only be possible if we are able to identify opportunities. In regards
to this, the 2020 Binational Socioeconomic Handbook is the essential tool to
illustrate our binational potential for present and future generations.

With a well-defined path between society and government, we invite you to

of this “Laredos Region” open to welcome investments, reaffirming
the commitment of providing the required assistance for the

Currently the city of Nuevo Laredo, has been strengthened by its
leadership at the state, national and international levels, based in
its highest levels of COMPETITIVENESS in public works, social and
economic development, public services, public safety, as well as
in the clear management of its resources.
