In this workshop we will describe modifications to the
Practicum course in the San Mateo County Community
College District during the COVID 19 pandemic.
Considering the prohibition against students and
volunteers in early childhood settings, the student
learning outcomes of the course, and our desire to keep TEACHER PATHWAYS OPPORTUNITIES
the teacher pathway open, we have made some major AT SFSU!
modifications to the delivery of content and MONDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2020, 1PM - 2PM
assessment. We based our solution on traditional Lab
School teaching methodology, which relies upon Target audience: Future teachers/students
relationships-based, virtual teaching teams, utilizing the Hosted by: Graduate College of Education -San Francisco
Lab School Master Teachers and community-based State University
