Rosemary (she/her) is a teacher educator and doctoral
candidate whose work and research include racial equity and
social justice in education and emphasizing culturally
sustaining pedagogy (Paris, 2017) through the lens of Critical
Race Theory. She does not hold a specialty degree in
Children's Literature, however, designed and currently
teaches a course in Children's Literature in a Diverse Society
at Cal Poly. She welcomes your perspectives during this
workshop.
