A panel of parent mentors with Support for Families
with Children with Disabilities will share their
experiences supporting their children with disabilities
throughout their K-12 education journey and their
experience supporting other parents on the same
journey. Attendees will learn what support parents are
looking for from educators and the successes and the
challenges they have experienced navigating the
education system. Panelists will also share strategies
and resources that they use to support their children’s
academic needs at home.
