CRUSADER NATION SHOWS UP FOR
ONE DAY IN MAY
T hough the COVID-19 crisis separated us from our
campus, Crusader pride brought our community
together virtually for a special One Day in May
celebration of our enduring legacy and raised an
astounding $85,000. Momentum began building early in
April, as hundreds of Crusader fans – past and present –
tuned in to CMH social media for an entertaining series,
“Games with Mro,” featuring CMH teacher and coach,
Jeff Mrochinski. Notable alumni, former teachers and
current Crusaders joined in the fun.
The inaugural virtual event featured stories of
success, resilience and faith and engaged current
students and families, alumni, and faculty and staff past
and present in a day of community pride and financial
support. Gifts ranged from $10 to $5,000 and originated
from cities and towns throughout North America.
