A Message from Board of Directors
Board Chair Michael Grubich Michael Grubich
Dear CMH Families, Board Chair
Over the past two years, I have had the honor to serve as the Board Chair Kelly Cleary-Rebholz
for this wonderful school. Serving in this capacity has allowed me to
witness how incredibly generous and committed you are to the enduring Chair Elect/Secretary
legacy of CMH. Larry Brown
Since my first introduction to this community when my wife, Ann
Marie, and I were exploring high school options for our three children, Treasurer
I knew this was a special, giving community that cared deeply about
Catholic education and the future of the children it serves. Now, as an At Large Members
alumni parent of three CMH graduates, I can say unequivocally that Dr. Chris Fox ’88
my children have incredibly bright futures thanks to the support you Carlos Garces
provide. Together, we are part of a community that builds young men and Rev. John Gibson
women of faith and character that will serve the church and the world. At Michelle Gross
Catholic Memorial, we expect nothing less. Dr. William Henk
As a parent of a Class of 2020 senior, I witnessed first-hand the Monica Hocum ’85
disappointment and heartbreak in the loss of milestone events caused by Very Rev. Dan Janasik ’97
the pandemic – senior awards, prom and missing out on the final days Glenn Kormanik
enjoying friendships built over four years. I also witnessed the strength, John Paul Marchan ’98
resilience and drive to persevere that exists in the young men and Michael McWilliams
women in our CMH community. As a board member and parent, I want Eric Oechsner
to thank our faculty and staff for adapting and managing through an Shawn Reilly ’79
unprecedented situation. I watched with pride as my son walked across a Dr. Suzanne Schmidt
graduation stage and safely enjoyed one final high school moment with Mark Tomchek ’89
friends and family, an experience CMH was committed to providing. Marlo Vasquez
As Board Chair, I was committed to working with faculty, staff, school Rev. Tony Zimmer
leadership and you to ensure the future of our school was strong. I’m Susan Nelson
grateful for your support – financial and otherwise. Without you, our
school would cease to exist. Associate Superintendent,
As my term as board chair comes to an end, I eagerly step into my role as Liaison, Archdioceses
alumni parent and supporter. I look forward to working alongside of you of Milwaukee
to ensure Catholic Memorial rises for many years to come. Thank you for
the opportunity to serve. 5
Blessings,
Michael Grubich
