Whitsunday Islands are 74 tropical islands that lie between the
northeast coast of Queensland, Australia and the Great Barrier
Reef.
Most of these islands are inhabited and they consist of hiking
trails, dense rainforests and white sand beaches.
Many people from all around the world come over here and they
are looking to see especially Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet,
where the sand and water combine together to create a
beautiful fusion of colors. This beach is also known for its crystal
white silica sands and turquoise water.
The sand here is unlike no other, making it comfortable to walk
on top of it, as it does not retain heat. It can also damage
electronic devices such as telephones or cameras, as it’s
extremely fine and granulated.
