ABSTRACT

Ahmad Maulana (12180161), Design of Inventory Information System at PT. Shigeru
Deli Ika

PT. Shigeru Deli Ika is a company engaged in Japanese food, such as sushi, Dounburi,
bento and others, the processing of goods at PT. Shigeru Deli Ika still uses the
conventional system, all processes of recording goods in and out are still using a ledger,
this makes it possible during the process of making inventory reports that errors often
occur, due to the lack of accuracy of existing data and delays in finding the required data
items. Therefore PT. Shigeru Deli Ika really needs a computerized inventory information
system in order to support and provide good service for customers and warehouse
admins. Data collection was carried out by interview and observation techniques to
identify problems and find out the inventory process that occurred in the company. XP)
and other literature that supports the research. Based on the above discussion, the authors
conclude that the computer can be an alternative problem solving in the data processing
process, as well as with a Website-based goods data processing system to achieve an
effective and efficient activity in supporting activities for PT. Shigeru Deli Ika.
