Leadership Effectiveness



     360 Degree Feedback Process
     The 360 Degree feedback process is institutionalized to assess leadership effectiveness. The 360 degree feedback
     intervention known as ‘Transcend – your opportunity to assimilate, refine and develop!’ is used to assess the
     leadership effectiveness at middle and senior management positions based on the Tata AIA Competency Framework.
     This initiative provides insights into one’s areas of strengths & development, thus giving constructive feedback to the
     individual to grow on the professional and personal front.
     As an effectiveness metrics, action plans based on the Competency gaps are formulated. The action plans are digitized
     and uploaded on an employee portal called Empower where employees can do action planning and review the
     templates periodically with their supervisors and HR.
     Career Shapers
     Career Shapers is an initiative launched with the objective to provide career guidance to the employees of TATA AIA.
     A detailed function wise competency dictionary along with career paths for each role in the organization was launched
     under this banner.

     Additionally, it includes Career Café – a platform where various flagship training programs, knowledge sharing
     sessions are conducted focused on development of Top Talent.
     Future Focus – Executive Coaching:

     Future Focus is a 360 degree based coaching intervention for selected Senior Leaders. It is a 6-8 month journey that
     focuses on accelerated learning and development, managing personal growth and aspirations, navigating through
     change and building engaging and future ready leaders to meet the fast changing business needs and challenges.
