     All-Church Food Packing Service Project
On Sunday, December 29, we will participate as a church family in a project after the 10:00 worship service to pack
food for distribution by Midwest Mission. This project will be similar in nature to the food packing we did in the
summer of 2018. Please mark your calendar and plan to serve as we work to meet a need for people in the midst of
disaster or crisis situation. All ages and abilities are welcome to serve - regardless of experience!

     Thanksgiving Baskets—Thank You!

In this season of giving thanks, I, along with the Missions Team, want to thank you for your generous support of the
Thanksgiving Baskets ministry. Between the Craft Fair and your recent donations, we have raised a total of
$7,989.53! Also, we were expecting Thanksgiving Baskets to cost $43, but the price came in at $42.30 per basket.
We want to acknowledge that County Market and Junior help to make this ministry happen and are grateful for their
support. The total cost for the baskets was $6,768, which means we can make a $1221.53 donation to the Savoy
UMC food pantry to help support our ongoing food ministry after Thanksgiving.
1Chronicles 16:34 states, “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever.” God is so
good to us and has blessed us in so many ways. Thank you for sharing some of those financial gifts with us to make
this ministry happen. Others in our community and in this season will give praise to the Lord as they have encounter
his love and provision through a Thanksgiving Basket.

Please know I thank God for you and your support of this ministry.
     Blessings,
     Marc
