Our Oneness

There was a moment a few weeks ago when God spoke to me while I was driving on Windsor Road.

A flock of birds was swirling around over an open field. I’m sure all of us have seen them. They seemingly fly without
direction. Swarm may be a better description. I have seen them many times. On this day, the image I had was God’s

hand moving amongst them directing their pattern of flight. There is no “lead bird” as there is with ducks and Geese.
What happened next lead me to write this down.

I went on a little further and came to the intersection at Neil. There are high tension electric lines there. It may have
been the same swirling group of birds or a different one, I don’t know. Almost instantly they all lined up on one wire
one after another. A few stragglers edged their way in as though they had a specific spot to be.

My thought then was as it is now… God’s hand through the Spirit moves amongst us and brings out of seeming cha-
os order and aligns us as one in His Spirit.

May we be one in this season as we together await His coming.
