Recycling Paper
          By Kaden and Isaiah

When they recycle paper at a mill
they first sort it to get pure paper.
Then they turn it into pulp. They
remove the dyes from the paper.
They can turn the pulp into paper in
20 seconds. They squeeze out the
water by putting it through rollers.
They heat it at 130 degrees. They
paint the gray paper white. They
iron it to get out the wrinkles. The
paper is rolled on 30 ton rolls and
then they test the paper for
strength. The last step is to cut the
rolls.

Every ton of recycled paper saves
17 trees from being cut down!
