9. Objectives:
The Unit is a new academic unit in the North-East Centre. We are making all-out efforts to
increase our academic activities including visits of other scientists and researchers to the N-E
Centre. We also need support of Visiting Scientists working in the active areas of research by
the Unit members. To that end, we need financial support under standard accounting heads.
We need this support for at least the next two years after 2021-22 i.e., 2022-23 and 2023-24.
